Apartment Fire Fund

Hi everyone, thank you for taking the time to visit our page. During the last week my son Brandon had his apartment building catch fire. Luckily for him, his neighbors came to the rescue to get him and his puppies out. That said, his belongings were not as lucky. Following the event he got a hotel to spend the night with the dogs. The following day the apartments were blocked off keeping residents from entering to gather what belongings they had left. According to the management team the units were all secured. However when he was finally allowed back in to gather things, it was quickly discovered the things that were not destroyed by the fire, heat, smoke, or water.... they were stolen. Sentimental items from his family, electronics, medication, jewelry, his bicycle, and even clothes. The city has since declared the building condemned making it even more difficult to get insurance adjusters out. We’re trying to come together to help him raise the funds needed to rebuild his life. We’ve already collected New housewares and some clothing. So we’re trying to raise the funds needed for the renters insurance deductible to try to cover some of the theft as the fire wasn’t covered due to the length of time he was living there being so short. We’re also trying to help contribute towards the deposit of a new apartment, clothing, and furniture for it. On top of that he will also need to replace his costly medication and work uniforms. It’s an obvious statement that no one could ever prepare themselves physically or emotionally for such a tragedy. To lose every thing in your possession other than a small bag he was able to grab on the way out. Even though he had savings that will quickly be depleted with having to start all over. Him and his roommate will be looking to find a new apartment as soon possible so they can begin to rebuild what was lost over this last week. .
