Summer Study Abroad in Quito, Ecuador

I am happy to announce that I have been admitted to Georgetown University's summer study abroad program inQuito, Ecuador. This is a huge blessing as I am pursuing my undergraduate degree from the School of Foreign Service in Socioeconomic Inequality in Latin America. As my senior year is quickly approaching, I am preparing for possible opportunities with the U.S State Department, and the Foreign Service.
During this program I will be taking intensive classes at the Universidad San Francisco de Quito for six weeks. The specific program I will be participating in is entitled "Race, Gender, and Ethnicity," which involves traveling throughout the country. Specifically, we will be visiting the indigenous communities of Riobamba and theProvince of Chimborazo, the colonial city of Cuenca, Inca ruins, the Ecuadorian Amazonia, and participate in community projects in the Province of Azuay. As a participant, I will be taking nine credits of coursework that focuses on intensive Spanish language and literature.
I need your financial assistance to make this opportunity a reality. The program costs of $8600 includes tuition, room and board, program excursions, supplemental insurance, academic fees, lunch at the university and travel to/from the university. I will be so very grateful if you would consider contributing to my academic endeavors and any donations and prayers will be greatly appreciated.
