We would like to thank everyone for all their generosity and continued support❤️
With the money raised we have installed a garage door, some need to have tools, and other bare necessities.  We truly are grateful and surprised with the outcome from this go fund me account and look forward to the opportunity to pay it forward in the future. Everyone is in our thoughts and prayers... It is overwhelming dealing with such devastation and all the factors that come along with it;  So once again we extend our most heartfelt thanks to all of our family, friends, community and also to the people that  we do not know that have raised support, we thank you once again!!❤️
As you can see we have focused on the one side of the garage  to get closed in, which is still in the process of being done. The money raised should cover most of that… So we hope that with this update and this progress report that we can renew our appeal and  reach all  of those who have not had the opportunity or that our hearing about this for the first time to reach out and give their support. We would be thankful for any support to help us toward our goal. The need to close in the remaining structure grows more urgent with the winter approaching.  Again,  we look forward to continue serving our community, friends, family, and business associates as a local business...

May God bless all of you,
The Aprea Family❤️

❤️This week we would like to give a special thanks to C&R doors who went above and beyond which helped us with a big step forward❤️

Our Family Auto Repair Shop went up in flames Sunday August 26th 2019. A complete loss. Aprea Automotive up and running for over 30 years comes to face this tragedy today. Two lifts occupied two of the family’s cars, all burnt to crisp, as well as all the tools and other expensive equipment. From ceiling to ground all was no match for the fury of the flame. Luckily there were no injuries. As this was our main source of income, donations of any size would be extremely helpful and greatly appreciated. We don’t expect much, and are beyond grateful for everyone who has reached out. Keeping our thoughts high in this trying time. Prayers and Positivity are much needed.

A message from my father Gerard Aka Gerry Aprea:

The rumors of my demise and early retirement have been greatly exaggerated, we are still here and we are moving forward, we ARE rebuilding...If the true measure of the wealth of a man is not the money he has ,but the friends he keeps ,and how much his community is willing to rally around him and come to his aid in his hour of need...then by that measuring rod I am surly wealthy, beyond measure.
It has been a little over a week since the fire and the response of the community, friends, and family has been nothing short of overwhelming. Like army ants crawling over and through the wreckage each one doing his part to remove a charred timber or twisted steel . I had no idea how many good people consider me worthy of their labor. Truly all the good I have done for others has now returned to me through the tragedy of the complete devastation of what took me 40 years to build.
God works his miracles in wonderful and strange ways. Raising us from the ashes of destruction to new horizons ,changing tragedy to joy. Truly I can see his finger in these events which will shape and determine my life from here forward. The bonding of people and community that this tragedy has turned to opportunity to express who we really are . I shall be forever thankful to the Lord my God ,and my fellow man. My faith in them has been raised up beyond anything I could have imagined. So I am taking this opportunity to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart, “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland” (Isaiah 43:18-19).
