Jon and Tessie Heeter were in a serious car wreck on Friday, August 24 while driving Jon to work. Their 18 month old, Hart was in the car with them as well as Baby Heeter (Tessie was 33 weeks pregnant at the time). Jon was left with serious injuries to his pelvis, ribs, and lungs. Tessie was very bruised up, but was able to go home with Hart the same day.
Fast forward to Sunday, August 26–due to the stress from the car accident, Tessie went into preterm labor. She ended up delivering her own baby (still in the amniotic sac!) while in the car on the way to the hospital! What a rockstar! Nell Idylle Heeter was born at 4lbs 2oz and is thriving (considering the circumstances!). Jon has been unable to meet baby Nell as his injuries are preventing him from leaving the hospital. Let’s come around these friends and love them radically as they adjust to newborn life AND recover from a truly traumatic event.

We love you Jon, Tessie, Hart, + Nell!!
