Jonathan Weaver's Recovery

On August 22, 2018 Jonathan Weaver was in a serious motorcycle accident and was life-flighted to the Knoxville Trauma Center. He was in the ICU until he was stable enough to move to the regular trauma floor. He sustained several fractures throughout his body, and head trauma that lead to bleeding and swelling on the brain. The swelling has caused some brain damage that could potentially be permanent. He has shown significant improvement but it is still unknown exactly all that was affected. We are staying positive that he will regain all brain functions.

His family is five and half hours away and they are hoping to get him moved up closer when he is stable for transportation. Jon will undergo several surgeries to fix most of the fractures in his body. He will be non-weight bearing on his lower half for several months due to the injuries to his legs and feet.  The recovery process for all of this is going to be long and difficult. He is very blessed to be alive and for that we are all so thankful.

 Jon is a loving father, fiancé, and amazing friend.
Jon is engaged to Brandy Wolfe and they have two beautiful boys. The oldest is getting ready to start first grade. Jon and Brandy just purchased their first home days before the accident. It is unsure how long it will be before Jon can even think about going back to work but it will not be anytime soon.  Jon was the sole provider for his family and will be unable to support them let alone cover the towering medical expenses he’s incurring during this unforeseen circumstance.

 The beneficiary for this is Jon’s fiancé, Brandy Wolfe. She will withdraw the funds to cover for lost wages, traveling back and forth and to pay for medical expenses.
