Help us get a new furnace

Update: With the help of some very good friends we've got a new quote! That means we're over half way there!


Anything Helps! Our furnace went out today (1/2/14) and the best estimate we've gotten so far is $3365. The heat ex-changer is cracked in three places meaning there is no repair possible. My wife and I have gone through viral encephalitis (Her) and strep pneumonia (Me) in just three years time. After my wife's month long stay in the hospital her insurance dropped her. With medical bills reaching ungodly amounts and no insurance the bills piled up. The insurance took forever to pay after reinstatement four months later, but didn't cover it all. This all comes just one year after her hospital stay and because of the viral encephalitis she is unable to return to work. With my son and his fiance's help were doing our best to catch up. This however has put us between a rock and a hard place as we are also on a fixed income.
