in memory of sarah ruiz

to all who knew and loved sarah,

as most, if not all, of you know, sarah ruiz passed away on january 1, 2014.

over the many years of her battle with cancer, several fundraisers were held to help sarah and her family cope with the enormous medical bills and medications needed for her treatments.

sadly for sarah and all of us, the treatments were out-battled by her cancer.

this has presented yet another dilemma. how to afford a decent burial for such a special person.

the cost of a funeral is astronomical, rather overwhelming, especially to the family who has spent everything they had on trying to keep sarah alive.

this is a request for donations to help defray the cost of burying our beautiful sarah. she deserves to be laid to rest with dignity and her family needs to have the burden of her funeral cost lessened in any way possible.

it is realized that the holidays have just passed and funds may be a little lower than normal. all that is being asked is that you give whatever you feel comfortable giving. no amount is too small. given that services will be next week, a timely contribution would be greatly apprechiated.
