Pediatric Multiple Sclerosis Family Camp

The Pediatric Multiple Sclerosis Alliance is an organization (not yet a 501c3) whose mission it is to connect families with children with MS. Kids as young as 2 years old around the world have been diagnosed with this disease. PMSA's hope is to find opportunities for families to get together, and the Lone Star Chapter of the MS Society is doing just that. Champ Camp is a yearly weekend event held in Burton, TX for children and teens with MS and their families. PMSA's members are from across the US and the world, and its parents often express great interest in getting to meet one another. Champ Camp is FREE for all attendees except for travel costs. My plea, as founder of PMSA, is to raise funds for families to be able to travel at little or no cost. And my wish is not just for families in the US to be able to do this, but for the family of a 14 year old boy in Iceland who knows NO OTHER child with MS. And the family in Scotland whose 10 year old son has MS. As well as the family in Michigan whose 4 year old daughter has fought this awful disease since she was 2. I could go on and on detailing many other families who would benefit from this weekend of fun and friendship.
