SOS For Mak The Cat!

Hi all, as some of you know, my kitty has been very sick with repeat urinary blockages. Unfortunately, these are recurring problems for male cats and it can be fatal. I know it may seem silly or self serving to try and ask you all to help me pitch in for a surgery that will prevent this from happening again, but the other options seem like they would result in more blockages and potentially having to put him down. Let me tell you what this cat means to me. He showed up at my door one night after a somewhat emotional evening. I was in a fairly low place in my life, and I had never wanted to have a pet, but I fell absolutely in love with him and he brought a joy to my life that filled up so much of my sadness. I truly do not think that I would have made it through some very rough times without his companionship. Unfortunately, I find myself now at an even lower point. We are still in between places, couch crashing, etc, and broke. The stress of the whole situation is probably part of what is causing these repeat blockages. It brings me horrible shame to be financially unable to give Mak the care he needs, but I’m asking you from the bottom of my heart to help me save the kitty that saved me. Anything would help.
