Funeral Costs For Douglas Heath

For those of you who haven't heard, on Monday August 20, 2018 there was a chase with police that lead to a crash and a shoot out. Loving father of 3, wondeful husband, and good friend, Douglas Heath's life was taken. At the moment, investigation is still open and not many questions have been answered. Autopsy is scheduled for Thursday morning. I will continue to update as soon as I found out more. Monday afternoon around 2pm Doug was on his way back to a hotel he and his wife, Kathy, had been staying at, moments later is when the chase began. He had crashed his Cadillac into a pole in front of the Easy Street building on 125, Kathy was aware of the crash and called their youngest son Blake and long-term girlfriend, Veronica to come get her, because she had believed police had had his father in custody. He passed the scene and got out to see his father in where he had thought was the back of the ambulance, paramedics told him to hang tight he can go in and see him in a minute. As he waited and pasted back and forth he looked passed the ambulance to discover a white sheet. He immediately recognized the outline. Blake let family know immediately, police autoritys contacted dougs mother, Beverly about 11 pm that night to let her know her son had passed away. Unexceptional. His oldest daughter, skye, was at work and was told a few people maybe be late to work because traffics backed up, kathy, blake, and veronica showed up to her work and told her the news. Beverly and Khali were together when they heard the news, every body came together immediately. Only to discover a smart phone redorded captured the last moments of his life had surfaced on social media and went viral, all family and friends saw this and this is how they found out. His life-long bestfriend, Buster, is devastated. Doug did everything he could for not only his family, but people he had even just met. Hed give the shirt off his back to anyone for any reason. He worked hard everyday to provide for his family and now they are left with nothing but the funeral costs. Being 16, 19 and 20 with an unemployed mother and retaired grandmother, they cannot possibly cover the price of this. The kind words from friends of dougies are really the only thing helping the family get though this time right now. A call, a message, a vist, hell, even a little comment about how great he was warms all of our heart and its greatly appreciated from everyone who has been there.
