Race & Ried’s Van Conversion Fund

In 2012 Race & Ried were diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy; a debilitating, fatal muscle wasting disease. The disease has continued to progress and has begun affecting their everyday activities. They find it extremely difficult to get into our van now. Soon they will be in wheelchairs full time and unable to get into a vehicle. We have a 2017 minivan that we must convert to wheelchair accessible and SOON! The van conversion is $27,000. I am a single parent and cannot afford this large expense. The boys have been in the hospital a total of 5 times this year and I am drowning in doctor bills. I am a very proud person and don’t often ask for help but I don’t know what else to do. Any help is appreciated! thank you!
