6 month old Adaliah was mauled
Donation protected
A parent's worst nightmare happened on September 11th, 2018 to beautiful, 6-month-old, Adaliah Fritz. Adaliah was mauled by a large-breed dog, causing her tiny, fragile skull to be punctured and pushing bone into her frontal lobe, causing a brain bleed. She also suffered a large laceration from the side of her nose to her eye. Adaliah had surgery on September 12th at Madera Children's Hospital to repair the puncture in her skull. Doctors had to lift up the bone and remove several bone fragments while in surgery. Adaliah is going to be hospitalized while receiving continuous antibiotics for a minimum of 14 days to make sure there isn’t any infection from the dog's vicious bite. Alandis Burson, Adaliah's mother, works as a behavioral therapist helping special needs children, and Bobby Fritz, her father, works at Napa Auto Parts. Both of her parents have missed work since the accident and they have two other small children being cared for by grandparents while Adaliah is confined to the hospital. Funds are needed to assist with household bills, travel expenses from Tehachapi to Madera's Children's Hospital, and other expenses created from this horrible accident. Funds are needed quickly so that Alandis can stay full-time at the hospital and Bobby can be able to travel back and forth from Tehachapi to care for their other toddlers.
