Das Unmögliche ist wahr geworden - weil ihr uns dabei geholfen habt.
 
Doch unsere Verantwortung endet hier nicht.
 
Jetzt beginnt der nächste Schritt: Versorgung, Pflege und ein würdevoller Lebensabend. Dafür brauchen wir weiterhin Unterstützung, um Futter, Tierarzt und Unterhalt zu sichern.
 
Was wir im Vorfeld nicht wussten:
 
Die Stuten ließen sich nicht aufhalftern oder gar führen und demnach auch nicht handeln.
 
Für uns wurde die alltägliche Pflege der 6 zu einer Mammutaufgabe. So mussten sie - um die Hufe, die offensichtlich jahrelang nicht bearbeitet wurden - mit einem Blasrohr sediert werden.
 
Mit einer tollen und einfühlsamen Trainerin erarbeiten wir uns nun Stück für Stück das Vertrauen der Stuten - und gewöhnen sie an Dinge, die sie in jungen Jahren eigentlich schon hätten lernen sollen. Dinge, die es uns leichter gemacht hätten, sie so zu pflegen, wie sie es in ihrem Zustand brauchen.
 
Der Plan war eigentlich, sie nach der Rettung und einem tierärztlichen Check Up über Sommer auf große Koppeln zu schicken. Alles war bereits geplant. Doch es kommt leider anders: 2 der 6 Stuten haben beim Laufen große Schmerzen. Wir müssen dem auf den Grund gehen, was uns zu der Entscheidung gebracht hat, sie in unserer Region einzustallen, um sie richtig versorgen zu können.
 
Wir hoffen, dass ihr auch weiterhin an unserer und der Seite der Stuten seid.
 
Wir haben das Spendenziel angehoben, weil hier viel mehr auf uns zukommt, als wir jemals hätten ahnen können.
 
Doch wir wollen die Stuten nicht im Stich lassen.
