John and Martha had the american dream, good jobs, beautiful family, and a lovely home. On May 3rd 2013 They found out they we expecting what they thought would be their 3rd child, turns out it was identical twin girls. Martha had a very rough pregnancy from morning sickness so severe she was hospitalized multiple times to finding out the girls had Twin to Twin Transfusion syndrome. She was rushed into surgery to be able to save the girls, and it worked both were gonna be ok and tolerated the procedure well. Just 2 weeks later her water broke and she was again hospitalized for almost 2 weeks before she found out she had an infection and the girls had to be taken by emergency C-section at just 25 weeks gestation on September 28th 2013. Jazmine was only 1 lb 11 oz and 32 cm long. Janessa was 1 lb 7 oz 33 1/2 cm long. They went through a host of medical issue and are very close to finally being released form the hospital. Jazmine was actually supposed to come home on Dec 29th, but that has been put on hold for the moment. On Sat, December 28th John was working on a relatives van, when it fell on top of him. He stopped breathing and his heart stopped for about 10 minutes paramedics worked on him and revived him and he was lifeflighted to Grant Medical Center in Columbus Ohio. He has broken ribs, fractured vertebraes and a collapsed lung. We were also told he has brain damage through out his entire brain although at the moment we are not sure how severe it is. They could use the help with the medical bills from both the girls and John.
