Nottingham Knights Playground Project

Hi, my name is Emilie, and I am a fourth grade student at Nottingham Elementary School in Nottingham, NH. Last year, as part of a writing project, I wrote a persuasive letter to the school prinicipal, MS. Carvalho about the need for new playground equipment. The reasons I believe the playground needs to be changed include the limited space in which the students can play and because the equipment is too small for all the children to play on, both of which impact the ability for the kids to get exercise and release energy before going back into class to learn. Furthermore, I am concerned for our safety as the equipment is old and breaking, and also because there is no equipment designed for children with special needs.
Currently, I have raised approximately $2,520.00 through support from the Nottingham PTA and fundraising events. There are additional fundraisers scheduled to occur throughout this multi-phased project. Please help support me in raising money for the Nottingham Knights Playground Project. Thank you!
