Rebuild Kerala! (Flood Relief)

Donation protected
Those of you who know me, may know that I come from a state in India called Kerala. Kerala has a population of over 33 million – roughly half that of the United Kingdom. Kerala is well known for its beaches and backwaters and is a popular tourist destination in India.   During the recent monsoon season, Kerala has been severely affected by torrential rains, floods and landslides. Entire towns and villages are being evacuated.   Airports have been shut down – The runways at Cochin international Airport, one of the busiest in India, have been totally submerged. Public transport is non-existent in many areas. People are having to be airlifted from top of buildings. The rain has reduced now however this is not the end of the monsoon season yet.   The estimated damage cost is now at £1 billion and rising and the death toll is currently at 164. To help with the relief efforts, I am running a fund raiser and invite donations from all. As an added bonus, I will be shaving off all my hair (what little I have left) and my beard on the 17th of September which is the deadline for all donations. There is no limit on how much or how little you can donate. Every little helps!   Please also spread the news to increase awareness of this event.   All proceeds will go to the Kerala Chief Minister's Distress Relief Fund.
