Brent's Vietnam Medical Mission 2014

As many as you already know, I have recently been blessed with the
opportunity to use my training and experience in orthopaedic surgery to help
those in need in Vietnam. As many of you also know, Vietnam is a communist
nation within the "10/40 window", a region of the world containing a large
percentage of people who have never had the opportunity to hear the message of
the Gospel.
Like any other medical mission, our goals are twofold: Spread the word of the Gospel and take care of those in need. We will be traveling to the Cao Bang province of Vietnam near the Chinese boarder. Specifically, I have been asked to teach general orthopaedic techniques to the medical staff in that country and address any surgical needs while I am there. Also, like any other medical mission, our trip is funded by donations. The cost of the mission is $3000. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

The Great Commission (Matthew 28-18): "Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
