Help Cyrus March The Cadets!

Hello everyone, my name is Cyrus Heidary. My drum corps career started with Cadets 2 in 2012, followed by the Reading Buccaneers in 2013, both years on lead baritone. In November of this year I decided it was time to leave the Drum Corps Associates (DCA) circuit and audition for The Cadets. I went in on baritone and left with the recommendation that I continue the audition process on tuba. One month of intensive practice and two callbacks later, I was offered a spot in their hornline, but due to personal circumstances I unfortunately had to give up my spot.  Fortunately I still marched the 2014 season, going back to the Reading Buccaneers on tuba.  Now, for the 2015 season, I have reauditioned for The Cadets and have successfully re-earned my contract to march with them this summer!

This will be my very first and last season with The Cadets, as well as my first and last season marching in the Drum Corps International (DCI) circuit. With this amazing opportunity comes incredibly high demands, all physical, mental, emotional, and in the case of this donation page, financial.

The Cadets is a performance ensemble that tours all over the country during the summer. This once-in-a-lifetime experience will cost approximately $3600 for the summer of 2015. This fee goes towards food, housing, medical care, transportation, as well as tuition so I can be taught by world class staff. I usually don't like to ask people for money, but I only have enough money saved up to offset a small part of the costs, and my current job won't be enough to take care of the rest of the fees. I need your help.

Any donation, no matter how big or small, whether its $5 or $100, will be greatly appreciated. I recognize that to donate money would be making an investment towards myself and my future experience, so I would like to treat this as such and offer incentives which are listed below.
