Diabetic Pump for Alabama “Bam”

Alabama was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in July of 2017. She had a major seizure for the first time on August 14th 2018 after a nap and her blood sugar dropping rapidly. She was taken by ambulance to the hospital where with several tests they ruled out any major issues. The seizure in-fact was from her blood sugar dropping too low. Our Insurance does not cover a Continuous Glucose Monitor and we feel it is an absolute necessity at this point to constantly monitor her blood sugar even while she is sleeping! It has been an extremely rough year for this 10 year old and we want to make life easier for her. She is so incredibly special to us! We do not ever want her to go through that again or witness something so horrific happening to her again. Scared us all to death! This monitor would literally be a life saver and mean so much to all of us. Times are tough raising a large family and we would be so grateful for any size donation!
