Miracles For Madalyn
MIRACLES FOR MADALYN On Monday August 6 Madalyn Killebrew was involved in a serious car accident. She suffered a traumatic brain injury. She is currently in St. Louis Children’s Hospital where her condition is stable but critical. She remains in a sedated coma while her brain continues to heal. While her prognosis at this time is unknown, we are hopeful. She will have a very long road ahead and will need everyone’s support. Madalyn is currently starting her senior year at New Athens High School where she has been involved in cheerleading through all of her years in high school and has also been getting back into softball starting her junior year. She’s a member of the National Honor Society and various other activities. She’s also involved in the Running Start Program at South West Illinois College. Her medical bills will continue to accrue along with cost associated with her mom remaining by her side and not going to work. We do not have exact numbers of the cost so far, however, she’s had about 11 CT Scans along with countless other tests/checks around the clock, with specialists that are working tirelessly around the clock. When she wakes up, there will be rehabilitation costs for as long as it takes to get her to her most possible best. We will update with more details as we know.
