As most of you know, I was diagnosed with breast cancer stage 2B earlier this summer and have begun a year-long journey of chemo, surgery, and radiation therapy. The diagnosis came at a rough time for our family - I get paid on a 9-month cycle, so by the time I entered treatment my last paycheck had already come and gone. Our summer savings was zapped almost immediately by uncovered medical expenses and travel costs, and now the bills are starting to pile up.

John and I are not ones to ask for financial assistance, even when things get rough. However, with another six weeks before we see my check again, and three more chemo sessions in that time, we are feeling the stress of this expensive disease. So, we're humbly asking our friends and family to help give us a boost with our living and medical expenses during these next few lean weeks. We've been shown such amazing kindness already from so many, and we couldn't be more grateful. We love all of you, and any assistance, be it sharing this page or donating, will be greatly appreciated!
