Please Help Stephen and his family
We are reaching out for help because one week ago a tragic incident happened that left Stephen Black fighting for his life. He has made it through the most critical life threatening part but at this time he is still in the hospital fighting for his quality of life.
Stephen at this point has little to no sensation below the chest. The doctors say the process will take months of recovery and physical therapy, but he may never regain full use of his legs again. He is in the Wake Forest Hospital in Winston Salem.
We are all heart broken for him and sad for the hard days ahead. We know through the grace of God and his wisdom we will get through this. Even though we are still grieving we must be proactive to help out!
Stephen was the primary breadwinner for his family, Clarissa Yarborough and their beautiful 19 month old son James. They are also welcoming a baby girl in the early half of January. Clarissa will need to be by Stephens side and be his primary care taker through this process and longer.
He loved his family more than anything and was looking forward to their future dreams.They are in serious financial need for their current living expenses. Stephen worked as a body repair technician at Modern Toyota of Winston Salem.
The family had recently bought land and a fixer upper which they were renovating on the weekends.
This place will need to be finished out and made with handicap accessible ramps, entrances and doors.
Stephen is a loving father, hard worker and great provider for his family.We are asking family, friends, organizations, churches and concerned compassionate people to help with prayers, carpentry skills, meals and money to the fund.
Stephens aunt created another go-fund-me exclusively for bills/medical expenses, this page is for the family and continuing to build their future.
