<div>My name is Melissa. I am fundraising for our dear friends Chris and Sherry Kelley. The Kelley's have an amazingly sweet and beautiful 5yr old boy named Michael. Michael has just been diagnosed with Chiari Malformation. This is a condition where your brain is being squished into your spine. Michael's skull has not formed normally, leaving an opening for the bottom of his brain to squeeze its way through this opening and resting onto his spine. Michael is having massive sezuires, loss of feeling in his extremities, and so many other frightening symptoms due to this diagnosis. Michael is going to have to have surgery to prevent this from getting any worse and to fix his skull so that there is no more "leakage". As you can imagine this is absolutely horrifying! Both parents work and Michael does have insurance, but those co-pays are far beyond what can be afforded. The financial burden is just too much! In the spirit of Christmas and just plain humanity, I beg of you to help this child get the best medical care he can. Without our help Michael may not be able to get the testing he needs to properly care for his condition. The hospital wants 20% immediately. This family can't afford this. They have other children that depend on them too. Please just put yourself in the parents' position. Wouldn't you want what's best for your child! Wouldn't you want others to help you when your child is in need. I have attached a few photos of this precious child. Please let's all help him out with best Christmas gift of all. Thank you.
