Memorial for our Mark E Jones

Donation protected
This morning I woke up to sad news that my friend and co-worker, Mark E. Jones passed away after a short, but courageous battle with cancer. I was able to spend some time with Mark recently to witness him and his wife, Keo renew their vows at The Church at the Mount in Apache Junction, AZ. For those of you that don’t know, The Church on The Mount, below is an article on how it came to be: http://www.eastvalleytribune.com/get_out/church-at-the-mount-at-goldfield-brings-god-back-to/article_eb57e334-66f7-5788-b7f4-3fe620a6c585.html The church in the article above was an idea that Mark and his father had dreamed about and then eventually helped build. It meant a lot to Mark and his family as his father Rev. Tim Jones is the pastor. He always told me stories about riding his four-wheelers or riding horses to Church. I always knew it was really important to him and his extended family and friends as they would all meet there every Sunday and then stop at Mammoth Saloon for a beer after church. I know this would mean a lot to him so I hope you can give what you can and maybe his family can add something special to the church in his honor. If you ever get a chance to visit the church, stop at the Mammoth Saloon and grab a Miller Lite and ask the band to sing their song, “People are crazy” by Billy Currington. This is the refrain the whole place sings every Sunday: “God is great, beer is good, and people are crazy” We will miss you dearly, Mark. Cheers to you, brother!
