We desperately need a new car engine

I am a single mom of autistic twin boys. This year I finally had enough money to buy a used SUV to have enough room for me & the boys since we had outgrown our little car. 3 months after having this vehicle the engine broke down and now requires a new one. We are back in the little car that is way to small to accommodate us. Our car is running on its last wheels. The truck has the space we need and without a vehicle I would not be able to get boys to dayhome/school & I would not be able to get to work in a reasonable time. Living in Alaska the bus system would not be able to accommodate us nor would we be able to afford taking cabs (would be approx. $80/day). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
