Help me not lose my job or my dogs.

I signed a lease in June in philadelphia with someone who I thought was a friend, they were also a coworker at this point. It was one single lease, but a duplex home. About two weeks ago I got a call from my landlord telling me he was going to file eviction. Confused, I asked why. I then found out that this person who was on the lease had not paid rent for almost 3 months even though I paid my share. The landlord said that there was nothing he could do to help me, since I was on the lease and the unit was rented as a whole. Less then a week after this, my dogs ate a pack of sugar free gum that contained xylitol. I had to take them to an emergency vet where the bill was close to 3k, resulting in every penny I had saved being gone. I'm stuck between two options, moving a few hours away and staying with a friend with my dogs but loosing my two jobs piercing at two shops, or surrender my dogs to a kill shelter and then being able to keep my jobs. I don't know what to do, and I feel like this is my last resort. If anybody can help me, that would be amazing. I could care less about myself, but I just want the best thing possible for my dogs. If you can't help, that's fine and OK. Nothing in life is free and I understand that completely, I'm just using this as a last resort. I don't want to loose my jobs or my dogs, and if you can help me not let that happen that would be fantastic. My goal amount is set for an estimated $700-$900 a month for rent in the Philadelphia area; 1st month, last month, and security deposit. This would help me get into a more stable living environment. If my goal isn't reached I will give the money back, donate it to a charity, or look for a different style of living arrangement that let's me keep my career and my dogs. Thank you for reading this.
