For the Benefit of Dan

Laurie and Dan Sohasky are needing some help from friends and family. Dan Sohasky has been diagnosed with cancer and he and his wife have many medical expenses. A group of friends have gotten together to form "A Benefit For Dan" to help relieve some of the pressures a cancer diagnosis can bring to a family. Laurie Sohasky has been the creator of the 4-H after and before School program, Kid's Club. She has touched many families by helping parents have a safe place for latch key child care. She has specialized in helping kids and then giving them jobs as they graduate from the program and go onto college. She has touched many people's lives in Leelanau County. Laurie's husband Dan was a YMCA Soccer coach for many years and has volunteered at Suttons Bay School many times while his sons, Adam and Jason were enrolled there. Our Community is happy to get together to help the Sohasky family during this difficult time.
