Family In Need

A really good friend of mine Trudy Hinson took a family vacation back to Wisconsin and the rode their motorcycles. On August 10, 2018 they started the road trip back to Arizona. At around noon on a rural road outside of Mellen, WI her son Noah and his girlfriend Trish had the unthinkable happen, a deer ran out of some trees and into the roadway. Noah being an experienced rider knew he only had one choice and that was to lay the bike down to avoid going into oncoming traffic and not hitting the deer head on so that's what he did. Had he not done that the outcome very well could have been a tragedy. Still he sustained significant injuries and Trish was hurt as well. Trish sustained a broken wrist, sprained her other wrist, neck and back stains and roadrash but otherwise is doing very well. She will have occupational and physical therapy still ahead. Noah on the other hand sustained much more serious injuries. His injuries include a fractured C7 vertebrae, several broken ribs, pneumothorax, shattered wrist (requiring more surgeries in the near future), dislocated shoulder, collar bone, hip and knee and has severe roadrash on his lower back, hands and knees. He's also going to have occupational and physical therapy in the months ahead. He's also dealing with feeling guilty about laying the bike down and them getting injured. By no means is this his fault. He did exactly the right thing!!! Unfortunately, this has caused unforseen financial strain on the family with medical bills, getting everyone home, lost wages, hotel room costs etc. If any of you know Trudy and her family, they are always there to help anyone in need, well now they are the one's in need and would greatly appreciate any help anyone is willing to give. The family is just so very thankful that everyone is going to be ok. This is just going to be a long journey ahead of them. We will continue to update everyone with pictures and videos to show just how truly talented and wonderful these two kids are and how thankful we are that they are going to make a full recovery. Thank you so very much on behalf of the Hinson Family.
