Below is what Mike Martin (Tommy’s Dad) wrote about his son: Some or most of you are aware now. Yesterday around 11am my oldest boy Tommy left this life to be with the Lord. He had just turned 16. He was the most amazing young man. I couldn’t have been more proud to be his dad. He was in many ways a better man than I could dream of being. Two other young ladies lost their life in the accident as well. We covet your prayers! Me and Rachelle are devastated right now. He was my partner in music ministry and a true man of God. He was my wife’s best friend. I have no words to describe the emotions but we will prevail through Christ who gives us strength. He was the best big brother this family could have ever asked for.
The last Bible verse Tommy highlighted in His Bible app was this:
Romans 5:17 “Death once held us in its grip, and by the blunder of one man, death reigned as king over humanity. But now, how much more are we held in the grip of grace and continue reigning as kings in life, enjoying our regal freedom through the gift of perfect righteousness, in the one and only Jesus the Messiah!”
There has also been a Memorial Fund set up through their church, we know gofundme can be more convenient but it also takes a percentage of the donated money.
