4 Quarters - $50 Sponsor a Kid

It is our job (adults) to empower the youth and exude the characteristics of people they can be proud to look up to. The student-athletes that attend our camp look to us as a source of motivation and value our opinions tremendously. Therefore, it is our responsibility and duty to ensure we instill the right values and continuously be good examples for our youth, which is what started 4 Quarters Basketball and Life Skills Camp.

This summer, we are proud to announce the 6th Annual 4 Quarters Basketball and Life Skills Camp. The camp will take place this year from June 24th- June 28th. Without giving away too much information, we are a basketball based camp that teaches the kids the importance of Academics (Quarter 1), Health and Nutrition (Quarter 2), Life Skills (Quarter 3) and finally Basketball Skills (Quarter 4). Within these quarters; we will have lectures, Q&A sessions with young professionals, career assessment tests, nutritional sessions, SAT/ACT prep, and basketball drills. Each camper will leave this year’s camp with basketball accessories, a Gatorade bottle & towel, and a 4 Quarters t-shirt. All camp counselors are young men and women who are currently excelling and succeeding in their respective fields including; basketball players, sales reps, sports analyst, engineers, etc. Guest speakers will vary from different fields and areas to provide the student athletes with ideas and goals within the sports world and outside of it. 4 Quarters is more than just a basketball camp that only lasts 5 days, it is an experience for young men to build life-long relationships with people who want the best for them.

One way we are able to reach many kids is by keeping the cost of the camp relatively low by charging $50 per student for the entire week. Lunch, snacks, drinks and many other items will be provided for the kids during the week to ensure they have the proper items needed for a day full of activities. Lunch will be provided by Pizza Hut, Jimmy Johns, Zaxby’s, Jersey Mike’s, and Chick-Fil-A as well as drinks provided by Gatorade. While $50 is not a lot for some families, it is to others. We are looking to provide as many kids as possible with scholarships to attend the camp for free this summer and continue to keep the costs low. Also, for the first time, we will be having a year round scholarship fund that will fund SAT Tutoring and SAT fees for select campers.
