Help Ryder go to the vet

Hi, I'm Ryder!


I'm seven years old and I'm a human-loving pitbull. I've known my foster mom for almost a year, but she just found me abandoned in a trap house last week for the last time. The people there were nice to me but I was scared and hurt. They thought I was kicked or punched in the face, which had broke my jaw. My foster mom took me to her house and fed me, and made sure I was comfortable  until we could go to the vet.
When we did, they told us that I was not physically abused, but the neglect I suffered caused gingivitis which lead to an infection in my teeth. I'll need surgery in two weeks, after the antibiotics are done and it is safe to have surgery without any infection present. 
For now, I can eat normally again, and the doctor gave me some pain medication so I'm not feeling too bad. Its a big change from what I've been used to, so I'm still adjusting, but I'm going to be okay. The vet also had to send away blood work and samples to check for prostate cancer, but right now we're raising money for the dental surgery that I need.
