Unexpected loss of father

On June 4th of 2018, the day of my
mother's and step fathers13th wedding anniversary, things turned for the worst. My step father at the age of 47, Dave Mayer, passed away unexpectedly from an aortic dissection causing a heart attack. This devastated my mother and his 7 children including his family and friends. Dave was the loving father to his 3 sons Devan, David and Dylan, beautiful twin 10 year old girls, Danielle and Destiny. His two step children Krystle and I. Many of you may know that Dave was a hard worker. In addition to owning his own business, Mayer's Heating Service, he made the selfless decision to become a nurse when my mom was pregnant with my sisters 11 years ago just to make
ends meet. He was so selfless in allowing my mom to focus on being a full time mother. Dave worked 80 plus hours a week between the two jobs.
My mom did pick up a part time nursing job a few years ago to help contribute. Due to the sudden loss of this great father, my mom also had unexpected funeral expenses she had to pay for. Me being her son, I want to give back
to my mom as much as possible. Now with my incredible step father gone as well as the main source of income, Kimberly Mayer needs as much help as she can get to support her and her children. Because of having the little ones out of school for the summer,
my mom is going to need to take the summer off to be there for them. I ask if everyone can please share this tragic story to all their friends and family. Remember every little bit helps!
