Hi, my name is Laura. I feel cheeky doing this but a few friends said too. My 13 year old working cocker spaniel Tess started bleeding Friday 10th July so I had her checked out and the vet has found a mass in her vulva, they swabbed her and found some cells on it (not sure what though). She is on pain relief to help her to cope with the discomfort. I took her Thursday 17th for an ultrasound on her bladder which came back clear so decided to get her pre op bloods done due to her age and putting her through surgery. She has minor issues with her kidneys but not enough to worry the vets, they will just avoid certain medicines and her recovery time may take a little longer. They have mentioned her heart hasn’t got no murmur like you would find in older dogs which is a great sign. She is a very healthy 13 year old who only has Arthritis in her hips and a blind eye. Which is why I think she can go ahead with surgery, I can’t imagine putting her down just for being old when she is healthy and very much loved from myself, my children and friends.
I am a single mum so struggling to find this money.
I will be forever grateful to anyone that donates and helps my Tess to hopefully have few more years on this planet and be loved by us all.
