Keegans New Pastry Adventure

Hello Everyone,
My name is Keegan Yee and I am a Pastry Cook. An awesome opportunity has arisen for me to further improve my skills as a pastry chef and to build upon my career. I have long had the desire to attend The French Pastry School of Kennedy-King College. It is a four day class held in Chicago where I will be taught by the best of the best--Chef Stephane Leroux, M.O.F.
The course is set to run from January 6 - 9. I was fortunate enough to register for the last seat in the course and I'm excited to attend! However, a course of this caliber is not cheap. That's where I need your help. I must raise $2500 by January 5th 2014, to cover my flight, motel, and course expenses. Time is of the essence, and I don't want to miss this amazing opportunity. I'm so grateful for all of you who have supported me in my career through prayer and encouragement. Now would you support me further with a contribution?
Thank you all so much!
Sincerely,
Keegan Yee
Course Description: Stéphane Leroux, M.O.F., one of the world's greatest chocolate masters, is returning to The French Pastry School to teach this Chocolate Showpiece course. In this four-day, hands-on course, Chef Leroux will guide you through new showpiece techniques of his design. He will teach you the elements you need to know to design, plan and assemble a stunning showpiece for competition and display. Through the use of template making, casting, sculpting, assembling and decorating, you will be able to add your own flair to the chocolate showpiece you create as part of the class. Chef Leroux will share invaluable tips and tricks with you, including how to troubleshoot if not everything goes according to plan. After this course, you will be able to use the latest techniques to turn your inspiration into a dazzling chocolate showpiece. This course is accredited by the American Culinary Federation (ACF) for 28 Continuing Education Hours (CEHs).
