Ronnie is entering hospice care

My big brother is dying. As some of you know he contracted esophageal cancer in 2016 and we thought we beat it by an intensive round of chemo, radiation and a 12 hour surgery. The  cancer has come back however with a vengeance very quickly within the past few months and has entered his bones, lungs, kidneys, and just keeps spreading day by day. Most of you remember Ronnie as a strong strapping 6'4 man but now he weighs less that 120 pounds and can barely walk or talk. The problem now is bringing him back to Texas so he can be with his nieces whom he loves more that anything.  The issue we have is that while in Texas his California insurance will not pay for hospice he will need to live out his last few months pain free. This means we will be having to pay out of pocket. Even if he is to sick to travel the funds we receive  will go towards providing nurse care and the medications he will need and be able to afford that will take care of the intensive pain that do not come cheap.  Hospice facilities cost hundreds of dollars a day and I’ll be taking a leave of absence from my job. Any amount that you can donate would go a long way to make sure his passing is as comfortable as possible surrounded by the people he loves and who love him. Ronnie has been a lost soul living a hard life that he did not deserve. Please help him leave our lives with love and compassion. My dream is to be able to bring back his ashes to Bali to have a memorial that will celebrate his life.
