Global Leadership Summit & Internship

Dear Friends -
I am a full-time student at Maharishi University of Management, where I have been studying Sustainable Living/Agriculture as well as Art & Ceramics. My time here at this university for the past 12 months has been completely life-changing...the holistic, consciousness-based approach to education has allowed for incredible and intense personal growth that has expanded my world view and internal personal view in ways that I can only describe to you as phenomenally amazing.
Recently, I have been given a wonderful opportunity. As a member of the Enlightened Leadership Program (ELP) on campus, I have been invited to attend a Global Enlightened Leadership Summit for young leaders, in conjunction with the World Peace Assembly in Antalya, Turkey with students and leaders from all over the globe.
In addition to attending the conference, I have been asked to assist the director of the conference. I will have the chance to lead a few events, personally meet and connect with every person from around the world who attends this summit, as well as gain leadership experience within the inner workings of putting together such an event. Participating in this fashion will allow me to also receive internship credit toward my education. This is a very exciting opportunity for me in many ways, (including the fact that it will be my first time ever outside of the United States!)
The dates of the Global Enlightened Leadership Summit are Jan 15-25, 2014. I will leave on Jan 7 to assist my director in preparing for the conference.
All of us in ELP who are attending the summit are working on fundraising efforts here at the University which will partially cover our expenses. However, the funds raised will be dispersed amongst us all, and we are still individually responsible for raising funds to cover our costs.
As a thanks for your donation, I am offering a few small tokens of love and gratitude, which are listed here. Below are a few examples of my recent pottery work.
