The Amputee Veterans Recreation Area, Inc. is a Non- Profit Corporation Dedicated to improving the physical and mental health of Veterans through recreational programs and counseling.
Funds are required to update and maintain the facilities and grounds to comply with the Americans With Disabilty Act ( ADA) and to support recreational programs and activities.
For six weeks each summer the Veterans loan this campground to the Town of Natick to hold their Camp Arrowhead program for physically and mentally disabled children. For this reason we feel that you will get double the value for your contributions because all improvements also benefit these campers.
The executive board that oversees this corporation is comprised completely of volunteers from Natick AMVETS Post 79. There are no salaries or benefit provided, so 100 % of your donation will go towards Wounded Veterans and Disabled Children.
