Life changing surgery

Hi everyone. This is my first go fund me. To be honest I am a bit unsure of how this works and I doubt that I even get anything, But I will give it a go, if you don’t ask you don’t get, right? So for many years now I’ve battled physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually with my rather extra large chest size. I know for probably most girls are there they are probably thinking why would you be so unhappy with such a large chest?! Surely that’s what every girl wants? And honestly my answer to that would be most definitely not. Not for me anyway. I struggle on a daily basis with discomfort, lower back pain and even shoulder/neck pain and even sometimes find it difficult to breathe because of the weight of my chest. So you’re wondering what size I am? I’m a 42 JJ. As you can imagine these are extremely large for a slight frame can you imagine going bra shopping? Needless to say it’s a complete and utter nightmare i’ve tried endless amount of bras. Wired bras, extra support bras, sports bras and even binders. I am registered blind and play visually impaired tennis. I absolutely love the sport, however as you can imagine playing the sport with my chest size can make it somewhat difficult. I find it extremely embarrassing especially when we are doing our warm-ups. I’m the only one standing folding my arms to make sure my breasts don’t give me black eyes. I am so passionate about my tennis and even not such a bad player as I’ve been selected two years in a row to represent the visually impaired Ireland team for world Championships. Sometimes though I have thought about giving it up as my large chest size can make it sometimes difficult and uncomfortable to play but I managed to fight through. You’re probably thinking why not go through the NHS? I have spoke to my doctor and apparently waiting list times are roughly 3 to 4 years. That right now feels like a lifetime to me. This is why I am wanting to go private. I have enquired about going abroad to have the surgery done as it’s far cheaper, but to be honest because I am totally blind and would be in a foreign country I wouldn’t feel comfortable. Not to mention if there was any complications with surgery etc. Also I wouldn’t have support of friends and family which is why I would prefer to have it done in my own country. So after doing my research into going private here in Northern Ireland. The amount would be over £7000. This unfortunately is a large amount of money to me and I don’t have those type of savings which is why I have come to go fund me for the help of you lovely people. Hopefully this is enough information for now. As I said, I have never done anything like this before so it’s a learning curve for me. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact me. If I even achieve any amount of money towards my breast reduction surgery it would be absolutely life changing for me. I honestly couldn’t put into words how much of a difference this would make to my mental and physical health. Thank you so much.
