Whitney's Medical Fund

Donation protected
Whitney was hit by a car and shot in West Virginia. Right now she is in emergency care at Virginia Tech. Whitney has three broken bones in her pelvis, two broken bones in her front leg, and a broken tail. The injuries to her pelvis are the most troubling but Virginia Tech has the equipment and doctors necessary to fix it. A rescue in West Virginia had Whitney but could not offer the care needed to help her, so the owner (Moira Liskovec) of Small Miracles Cat and Dog Rescue (Non-profit organization) in Ellicott City MD offered to help. Moira will be paying for Whitney's surgeries and finding her a safe and loving foster home to stay in once she is healthy enough to travel. When Whitney's injuries are healed, the wonderful staff and volunteers at Small Miracles will find her a loving and nurturing home to spend the rest of her life at. Whitney will be at Virginia Tech for at least a week and is expected to have four surgeries costing upwards of $10,000. All donations will be used for the healthcare of Whitney (mainly these surgeries). Whitney is as sweet as they come and deserves a second chance at a healthy and happy life. Moira and the team of staff and volunteers at Small Miracles have helped thousands of dogs since they've opened, they just need a little help with these first few weeks with Whitney. Any donations will be truly appreciated by Moira, all the staff and volunteers at Small Miracles, and of course by Whitney herself.
