Helping Thad Fight the Big C

I’m asking for your help, whether it’s a prayer to the Man upstairs or few dollars that you are willing to spare. Eight years ago my Dad, Thad Ledy, was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. He had surgery, radiation treatment, and doctor’s appointment after doctor’s appointment. It was a tough time for my Dad and the family but we never stopped fighting. My Dad beat the cancer and has been cancer-free up until now.
A few weeks ago, my Dad went to the doctor’s to have a few moles/spots looked at and the doctor found 8 spots of cancer, some that need to be biopsied. The doctor recommends surgery right away to remove them and look deeper. This is NOT a simple mole removal procedure. Surgery is required to remove these suspicious spots. But because of financial and health insurance issues the surgery is on hold, which isn’t recommended.
Thad Ledy is 45 years young and has a big heart filled with infinite love for his family. Thad and his wife, Kim, have been married for over 25 years and are blessed with six children (Jessie, Jasmine, Jenna, Camden, Jade, and Jorja). Thad is kind and opens his arms to others in need, as most of you already know if you’ve had the chance to meet him. He supported his family over the years working as a mechanic and built the house they live in with his bare hands from the ground up. Thad is happiest when he is with his family and has a fishing pole in his hand (even more so with a fish tugging on the line). Lastly, Thad is a solid follower of God and knows that God’s plan is bigger even if we don’t understand it ourselves.
