<div>Living with IBD is like walking a tight rope everyday of your life; never really feeling safe in your own body. Not knowing how close you are to being hospitalized or needing more medication. We spend countless hours working on our health only to find ourselves falling deeper into disease progression. The pain of living with Crohn’s and Colitis is unbearable most days. The fear and trauma around navigating life with this condition alone is devastating. People are forced to choose between harsh medications, irreversible surgeries, having vital organs removed OR dying from the various complications that can arise.

<div>Most patients are NOT satisfied with the treatment options available. It is becoming increasingly more apparent that we can no longer accept the conventional model of treatment as a long term strategy-Doctors need more tools to help their patients find lasting healing.

<div>We are a group of individuals who have come together after finding relief from our symptoms of Crohn’s and Colitis in working with Functional Medicine Doctors who took a whole body, root cause approach to addressing our disease. While this has not cured us, it has allowed us to be less dependent on medications and take control back over our health.

<div>The current medical model of care for Crohn’s and Colitis is 10+ years behind the clinical work that Functional Medicine Doctors are doing now, in real time. They understand the underlying mechanisms of this disease and are actively collaborating on a global level to find root cause strategies to treat Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
