ATTENTION! The Hermitage of Saint Cornelius has been approached by yet another benefactor who will donate up to $10,000 - he will match dollar for dollar YOUR DONATIONS!
This means that if you donate $100 he will donate $100! If you donate $1,000 then he will donate $1,000!
This $10,000 means our well (550 feet deep) already drilled from your previous doubled gifts still needs (the Hermitage acquired and refurbished for $1,100 a large late model propane generator) water tanks, piping, filters and a sterdy pumphouse. Here in the desert water is everything!
This campaign can possibly add up to $20,000! And the rest of the money will mean we can put in septic and leachfield for our small monk hermitages on our 50 acres of high desert monastic property (the Brotherhood has the title free and clear) in a desert wilderness at the foot of the Manzano Mountains!
This challenge begins today (at 1800) April 24th of 2015 and goes to July 2nd, Saint John Maximovich's feast day, of 2015!

Our Hermitage (center of operations) is in New Mexico - Canyon del Rio due East of Belen at the base of this Manzano Mountains on the new dirt road called Pilgrim's Path - no mail delivery.
The Hermitage owns outright 50 acres of high desert land, 2 acres of cemetery named after Saint Tobias, 3.6 miles of new dirt road, a water well of 550 feet, high quality barbed wire fencing ($21,000 barbed wire, steel posts, gates and corners), one monk hermitage (22 feet X 12 feet), 2 steel 9 foot tall 40 foot shipping containers, 80 feet of sheep fence and posts, 20 tons of gravel for leachfields/cement pads, large steel dump trailer and more for the building of this humble and sacred Hermitage.
