16 yr old Amanda's Medical Bills

Amanda is a wonderful 16 yr old that is suffering from manic depression.  She has attempted suicide twice this year and thankfully has not been successful.  

After the multiple ER room visits, hospitalizations, and a stay for 2+ weeks at an in-patient facility..... her medical bills have become overwhelming for me (her single parent dad) to cover.  

Of course the next year or so will also have continuing costs for follow-up care and it may end up pushing us out of her family home to settle up the bills.  Currently we have exceeded $10,000 in expenses with some of the medical expenses not being covered by the insurance plan.

Amanda is as sweet as can be when her life is going right and it is truly heart breaking to see her struggle so much.  We are getting some great professional intensive aftercare and we are all working with them to help her..... The added expenses for her medical care is just well beyond what I am able to pay.  So far, I have been able to meet the incoming bills, but I am now having to reach out and ask for help to pay for this continuing expenses.

Please help as soon as you can, all funds received will be used for the current bills and anything above that will be donated to local teen crisis care units.

If you cannot help financially.... please go to your children, your relatives, your friends and give them your time to let them know they are loved and wanted.  Depression hurts more than just the person diagnosed and you do not want to suffer the pain from it.
