RAG - Zambia Missions Trip 2016

Dear Family and Friends,

Andrea and I will be joining a team from Solid Rock to minister in Zambia, Africa from May 6th - 15th. Our team will be partnering with Jacques Van Bommel, who heads up Reaching a Generation (RAG) in South Africa and Zambia. During our time in Africa we will be ministering to the children of Zambia, helping RAG dig wells in local villages that do not have readily available fresh water, as well as providing medical support with a small medical team while in the villages. RAG uses resources like pontoon boats, small aircraft, and drill rigs to access and minister to the needs of the villages up and down the Zambezi River. They have developed relationships with the villagers that allow them to discover and minster to the needs of the people. One of the biggest needs is fresh water close to the village center as they sometimes have to walk long distances to gather water at the river. This has proven deadly for some of the villagers and their children due to crocodiles.

We are very excited God has given us the opportunity to minister to the people of Zambia. As you can imagine, travel to and from Africa can be expensive and we are looking to partner with those who feel led to support us on this missions trip. We need to raise $5100 by April 1st to cover the expenses of the trip.
