<div>Hello everyone, my name is Amanda and I am seeking your help for my dear friend, Lisa Williams.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Some of you will already know that just before Christmas Lisa received the devastating news that she has breast cancer, having already endured this battle 10 years ago. Once again she faces a tough and uncertain journey ahead, which will likely involve a mastectomy and chemotherapy. Her surgeon has strongly recommended that Lisa undergo a test that is only available in the US, which will inform her prognosis and the most effective course of treatment to take. This test costs $5000, and is unfortunately not covered or subsidised at all by her private health fund or Medicare.

</div>
<div>Less than a week before receiving this diagnosis, Lisa had commenced a new job on a fixed-term contract. Further adding to her financial strain, she has no current leave entitlements or other options to draw from to cover this part of her medical care.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I am reaching out to you all on behalf of Lisa and her family, in the hopes that you may be able to help in some small way, either by sharing this post, or donating if you can. I realise times are tough for a lot of us, and so any contribution you can provide is deeply appreciated. All funds raised will go directly towards the cost of Lisa's treatment. Thank you for taking the time to read this message and for supporting Lisa and her family in whichever way you can.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thanks,
</div>
<div>Amanda
