Seattle & Selena for Ng'ombe-Spring 14

A dream volunteer service opportunity has just opened up for me this Spring 2014 in Lusaka, Zambia with the non profit organization: Seattle For Ng'ombe (seattle4ngombe.org). I need your help in bridging the financial side for making this happen, any contribution amount would be welcome.

I have been looking for ways to support this effort for several reasons, but here are 3 big ones:
1. DIRECT: There is no "big organization overhead" "“ resources go directly to the projects on site
2. SUSTAINABLE: The local people in Zambia want a partnership designed to get things done in their community - not a hand out.
3. INTEGRITY BASED: I love the pureness of the mission, the integrity of the local people being partnered with, AND the integrity of the people that founded the organization

The start of Seattle Ng'Ombe was in 2009 by a dynamic Nurse Practitioner I work with at Seattle Children's, Shannon Fitzgerald, and her physician husband, Ken Elam. Shannon let me know that they could REALLY use my skills this trip (I geek out on data and creating system "flow").

At first I didn't think I could make this work financially, but decided to follow my heart, use my head and work my pattooty off to raise the funds however I can. Your support will make bridging the financial gap a whole lot easier for me. Thank you for whatever you can do - any amount is appreciated!
