Mosaic Terra Nova goes to New Zealand!

Terra Nova has been one of the most powerful and inspiring weekends in my life. Every year, hundreds of artists and creatives connected to Mosaic LA spend Labor Day weekend in the mountains, telling their stories and exploring their creativity.

For the past five years I have had the honor of teaching the art of spoken word/performance poetry at Terra Nova. Over the past two Terra Nova's the Spirit has been doing something crazy in our particular group. The people I've had the pleasure working with are sharing stories they've locked away for years. They're confronting ghosts. They're finding new ways to share their love. They're braver, and more committed to the art of words.

I have the opportunity to bring the same experience to a group of people in New Zealand over the last weekend of January. But I massively need your help! I need to raise money to get there!

If you know me well, you know what I look like when I light up. This is it. I'm all lit up over it. The experience of teaching poetry at Terra Nova almost makes me lose my words (which you also probably know rarely happens) because of the freedom I see people experience. Will you help me get there?
