<div>After a lifelong battle with addiction God is calling home Michael Holmes. Michael has been in the hospital fighting for his life for the past 7 weeks with alcoholic cirrhosis of the liver, now unexpectedly kidney failure and heart failure.  Today medical professionals and family made the difficult decision to move him to hospice. Michael’s days are numbered and his daughter Erica is left to attend to the family finances. Michael’s wife is disabled and unable to work and properly care for herself. We are asking for help to make cremation arrangements when the time comes as well as to help pay for housing and food for his wife until other services can be obtained to assist her. Many of us have been blessed to never have to know the pain of addiction but if you know Erica you know that she has spent the last five years tending to her own sobriety and healing from her families generational trauma. Erica now dedicates her life to joining others on their path to sobriety as an addiction counselor and is working towards her masters degree to further her abilities and help others who still struggle from this disease. The family has chosen cremation since it is the most affordable option but unfortunately do not have the means to afford even this. Please help us lay this husband and father to rest and the grip that addiction has had on this family along with him.
