YWAM Mission

Hi everyone! On September 25th I will be leaving Seattle to begin a 6 month missions program through the University of the Nations in Kona, HI. The program consists of two parts: first, I will spend three months living on base and attending Bible college/missions training classes; second, I will head out on a three month outreach to another nation, spreading the beautiful news of salvation and working with current YWAM teams in the area.          About two years ago, I began praying about what the Lord should have for me after highschool. When a friend of mine returned from a YWAM outreach later that year, I felt the Lord calling me into this program; to step out in boldness for Him and proclaim the good news! ("we are called to be BOLD" Joshua 1:9) I knew coming out of school that I wasn't ready to jump in college, I need to spend time away focusing on my relationship with the Lord and working through His provision. Approaching fundraising for my mission though, I knew I would have to completely rely on God to provide the funds I need to attend. The lecture phase is $4295.00 and the mission outreach could be anywhere from $4500-6000.00 (the reason being that it depends on which country I am sent to). My final goal is $10,295.00 as that would provide for all funds needed in the most expensive outcome. If I do make my goal and end up needing less than the amount, I want to plug it back into missions, being able to support another student that still needs funds or the mission in some way. I do believe though that the Lord will provide exactly what is needed.
