Roxy's Road to Recovery

Donation protected
On Saturday, April 9th, Maggie’s dog Roxy became very ill. Concerned, this single mom of twins took Roxy to the emergency vet to find out why Roxy was vomiting everywhere. After several thousand dollars in doctor visits and exams, it was determined late Sunday night (April 10th) that Roxy had a bowel obstruction and needed immediate and emergency surgery.

The great doctors at City of Angels Veterinary Specialty Center emergency department called in the special surgeon to make sure this sweet 5-year-old chocolate labrador would be well taken care of. Thankfully they caught the obstruction in time before she had to have a bowel resection, or worse, had a fatal reaction to the obstruction or complications. She is now resting comfortably at the hospital, but has to stay there while she recovers with as little complications as possible. She should be home later this week.

The vet bill is growing each day while she spends time at the hospital recovering from this major surgery. Due to the fact that her funds have been depleted by life in general, Maggie is stuck with a large vet bill for this sweet gentle giant that has completely wiped out her savings, emergency funds, and bank account.

Your help will make sure that Roxy is taken care of, but that Maggie and her kids are taken care of too. Thank you for your help!
